Meet Hiromi
This is me: I live as Love, I live for Love, and I express Love in all that I do—through my work, my singing, and my interactions with others.
Raised in Japan, I learned early the beauty of daily sacred rituals, like offering flowers to the ancestral altar with my grandmother, who planted the seeds of my devotional heart.
At 20, I moved to the U.S., where a loving host family grounded me as I navigated a new culture. I studied psychology at Evergreen State College, where I met my husband, Matthew. We’ve been blessed with two wonderful children—Daishin, 19, and Mina, 18. Being their mother has been my most challenging and fulfilling role, giving me profound opportunities to practice love.
Abide in Love and it Becomes Flesh
I truly sense Love in this work. Everything about Sacred Touch comes from love, and I let Love guide me in every session. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this practice and the deep love I feel for each person who lays on my table. The sense of sacred reverence I hold for each person is unlike anything I have experienced in any other work.
Through this practice, I’ve come to understand the deep respect some cultures show by kissing their Guru’s feet. I feel that same reverence for this work. It makes sense now why I had to wait so long to find what I truly love. My life has blossomed and been deeply nourished by Sacred Touch, and I feel like a better being because of it. Each session leaves me humbled and overjoyed by the divine manifestation of life.
My teacher Charles Ridley describes so eloquently about being Love.
“Once your body opens to its natural state as a Sacred Pulse of Love, the deep, pure presence of Pure Breath of Love suffuses the cells of your flesh, and unites all thoughts, speech, emotions, gestures, consciousness, will: love becomes flesh. In enfleshment, you discover true spontaneity, and the capacity to surrender deeper into life’s continuous multiplicity, unfolding as it is - as love that creates all that is.”
I have finally found my calling, and in this work, I embody Love.
